Initial Pain Assessment for ACC Patients
If a GP or Specialist refers you to me you will be seen under a contract that I hold with ACC. It is not necessary for you to contact your case manager – we have got automatic approval to see you, provided you have got a valid claim number for an injury that has directly caused the pain you are seeking help with. Please contact your case manager if you are uncertain if this is the case. There will be no surcharge for you.
Follow-up Appointments for ACC Patients
I can follow you up as needed to supervise medication trials or the outcome of an intervention. There will be no surcharge for you.
Initial Pain Assessment for Private Patients
$300 + GST per hour would be the most commonly charged fee. However, the costs of the consultation are dependent on the time required to get on top of your pain and go through your complete file and may go up to 2 hours (NZD 600 +GST). I am happy to provide your insurance company with a quote. Pleas call +64 7 3459915.
Follow-up Assessments for Private Patients
$100 - 150 + GST per hour (on average 30 minutes each)
